About this site
Firstly, let me offer you a warm welcome to the world of Roodie Doodie. I don’t know quite how you got here but you did…and in one piece. That’s the main thing.
Ok, so you can probably guess my name may not actually be Roodie Doodie… but that’s the name I am going by here. Yes, I’m hiding behind that name. No, there is no reason why I should be hiding. Honest.
This site came about when I rediscoved my love of drawing cartoons. I used to draw cartoons by hand and still dabble occasionally. I never really considered drawing them on a computer until recently. Hopefully one or two will raise a smile.
All cartoons on this site are my own work and therefore my Copyright! So please, If you want to use any of them, please ask for permission first.
Roodie Doodie by Roodie Doodie is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivative Works 2.0 UK: England & Wales License.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the site & one or two of the cartoons at least raise a smile.

I’d love it if you could link to my site. That’d be great. I’ll even give you a link back. If you want to use a an image for a link button, how about this…

Infrequently Asked Questions
Q. Why do you do this?
Just for fun really. Although I would love to have something published somewhere in some format. If you could help or know someone who could, please let me know.
Q. How often & when do you publish?
When the mood takes me really. I have no set number I do a week but I guess I average about 2. I aim to publish at least one a week. Sometimes it is more but it depends how inspired I am feeling. I used to try and do more but I found I just don’t have time to do everything I want to.
Q. How do you know it is worthwhile?
I don’t. In the scheme of things I get a very modest amount of hits with the odd spike when something gets Stumbled etc. I appreciate all the comments too. it’s that sort of feedback that makes it worth it.
Q. Why do your cartoons run vertically rather than horizontally?
Basically it is no other reason than to fit neatly in the pages of this blog. If I get round to building a more custom site, I will switch to horizontal strips. I do mean to do this – again it’s just having the time.
Q. Where did “Roodie Doodie” come from?
It was a spur of the moment user name thing that stuck.

Comment by darkokami November 16, 2007 @ 3:55 pmI found your “Death by Sporking” on the b3ta site. I must say I loved it. 😀 I hope that you do not mind but I have used it in my pages, with a link to your pages. Thought I would ask permission, if you don’t like how i’ve used your cartoon, i’ll delete it. Just click on my name and it should take you to my pages. I tried to send an email but it didn’t seem to want to work. :S
Great job btw. Classic giggles. Keep up the funnies. 🙂
Thank you for your time.
i wish you well,

And you are most welcome for the link back. Hopefully you will get some extra traffic because of it.

Keep up the good work, cheers for the chuckles!
Comment by Jay Roller December 20, 2007 @ 2:50 pmCheers Jay, Thanks! I am looking into doing something with these cartoons. T-shirts or something.

Comment by roodiedoodie April 7, 2008 @ 6:30 amLike Pearls Before Swine I enjoy the asurdity mix with social comentary…. the percieveve simplicity of the illustrations allow for the focus to stay on what is being said… and add an extrra layer of absurdity.
Comment by mylesfromnowhere April 17, 2008 @ 8:25 amwhy mylesfromnowhere, never a more eloquent comment have I had. Thank you!
Comment by roodiedoodie April 17, 2008 @ 8:30 amHi this is Tong-Len
I’m reading your blog from time to time. Good stuff !
Maybe I have something relevant for your blog:
As you probably know this is called Martial Arts Tricking. We worked extremely hard to fulfill our dream of this DVD. (first of its kind)
on bilang.com you’ll find a very good dvd-review with all information you might want to know.
http://bilang.com/system.php?cat=misc&page=dvdreview
your support would be much appreciated because it’s really hard to distribute a DVD just online independently…
Comment by Tong-Len April 22, 2008 @ 12:33 amthanks!
Tong-Len (Silvio Baumgarten)
Hi Tong-Len,
As someone who studied Martial Arts to a reasonable level, I really appreciate the skills on show here.
Hope the DVD does well for you.
Comment by roodiedoodie April 22, 2008 @ 6:42 amRoodie:
Got this in my inbox, think it was meant for you:
I really wanted to sydicate your cartoons, do a range of t-Shirts, Birthday cards, beer mats and pay you 1 Billion dollars. And give you a small, fully operational battle station with the power to destroy entire planets.
But I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Great comics, good luck,
D.V.
Mean anything to you?
Anyway, they are great comics. Good luck!
Comment by machpie May 5, 2008 @ 3:02 pmThanks Machpie, but it can’t have been meant for me, I have already gone to the dark side!
…Although I could do with another battle station.
